About us

The city of Jerusalem is the city of peace and the first qibla (direction of prayer) for Muslims and the location of the sign of God of the nocturnal ascent of the seal of the prophets Muhammad Bin Abdullah and their leader in prayer who gathered on its hallowed soil on which they prostrated their pure faces. Moreover, it is the place of pilgrimage of Jesus Christ and Christians on their sorrowful way (Via Delarosa) and the location of the crucifixion of the savior Jesus the son of Mary. Indeed, it is the holy of holies which was named by the Creator.

Presently, the city of Jerusalem is witness to a severe tribulation as a result of Zionist occupation and the Judaification of its historical heritage accompanied by measures of oppression, murder, impoverishment and the starvation of its steadfast inhabitant. Those dire circumstances beckon us to provide practical and tangible support such as salvaging its historical sites which are presently endangered and supporting the various institutions which continue to operate, as well as establishing beneficial projects to employ the unemployed from amongst its sons and daughter. It is against this background that the idea of founding the Forum emerged. Accordingly, in the latter part of 1989 a number of Jerusalemites called for the establishment of a club whose aim is to bring together the inhabitants of Jerusalem, its suburbs and those who love it to support those residing on its soil by myriad possible means.

Administration of the Forum:

The Forum is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of twelve members who are elected by the General Assembly, and the Board of Directors shall elect from among its members a Chairman and Vice-Chairman, a Secretary and a Treasurer.

The daily affairs of the Forum shall be administered by an Administrative Manager, a Secretary and an accountant. Moreover, the Board of Directors shall form the committees it deems suitable for promoting its activities.
