Hence, the Board of Directors formulated Articles of Association which set forth the objectives of the Forum including:

1. Endeavor to foster relations of affinity, love and cooperation, fortify social connections between the sons and daughters of Jerusalem, and promote communication with the sons of Jerusalem inside and abroad.
2. Devote attention to the fate and future of the city of Jerusalem and extend support to its sons both materially and morally.
3. Preserve the civilizational and cultural character of Jerusalem and its identity.
4. Undertake scientific and intellectual activities including holding lectures, the conduct of studies and research, and the founding of libraries.
5. Collaborate with quarters which actively support Jerusalem and the preservation of its heritage and antiquities.
6. Endeavor to support institutions and association operating in the city of Jerusalem.
7. Encourage sports, health and philanthropic activities and support existing centers.
